In March 2020, Thistlegarten, like all schools, had to shut its doors to in-person service for the first time in 20 years due to the COVID pandemic.  In order to continue providing services to its student base, the family/staff of founder Sandi McCreadie, including her son Rahman Jamaal and his partner Nancy Perez, collectively wrote, directed, edited and produced an original online YouTube children's series to continue its ongoing curriculum without interruption.

In the spirit of classic shows such as Sesame Street, The Electric Company, and Reading Rainbow, this 26-episode ThistlegartenTV series utilizes the vast material resources of Thistlegarten Creative Arts School by incorporating puppets, books, music, arts & crafts, and thematic multilingual vocabulary highlighting each letter of the alphabet in an epic TV-series narrative...

​...when Thistlegarten's magical unicorn host Yasmeen and her friends discover a mysterious egg at the school, they must embark on a intrepid journey and work together to return it to its rightful owner with all of its imaginative twists and turns that define the Thistlegarten spirit of exploration!
